Another birthday. I remember a tiny baby with the brightest most inquisitive eyes. My heart sings that she continues to be remembered by so many.

A women I know loaned this book to my boss as she thought one of the women in the group home would enjoy it. I have had the wonderful pleasure of reading this book to the ladies in our home and it has been inspirational. I work with 4 women who all use alternative communications. 3 of the women use Facilitated Communication and one of the ladies writes some amazing poetry as well. Thank you for publishing Claires writings as thier is a lesson to be learned in her story and in every word that she painstakingly wrote. Never judge a person by what they appear on the outside but by who they are on the inside. Thanks again. This book is a forever treasure and I intend to buy a copy. God Bless!!

I was given Claire's book as an ordination gift. It rests in the little bookshelf closest to my prayer place. This evening, as I have done on many evenings when the sermon is stony or the prayer a sterile duty, I pull out Claire's poetry and hear the voice of Christ, see the body of Christ in her wheelchair. Every blessing +

Thank you all for your wonderful comments on our daughter. September 21, 2005 would have been her 22nd birthday and as I looked at her web-site, I felt so close to her and wondered what else she would have done. Time does not blunt the loss and I am so glad that she remains in the thoughts of so many people.

Hi John Melinda and Lucy This work and memory of Claire keeps us humble and focused on what is really important in life. Claire seemed to do that so easily - she is a angel. Melanie and I love to read the short poems, they are so powerful. This will help keep the legacy of a truly inspiring person. our love to all.

Thank you so much for preparing this wonderful book. It has become a fixture around our kitchen table where we share news and ideas with ourselves and others. Your book is also a reminder of the special moments we had with Claire while visiting you over here on our beautiful island. John,Tawny, Jesse, Aron and Rachel

You set her in the midst of us as a child and young adult that we might know love and tenacity by example, gentleness in a look, joy in a smile, warmth in the touch of a hand, invitation to relationship.
